Yes, you read that right ... only 9 weeks left at Milwee until you all are officially high schoolers. YIKES! As you know, we will be having an EOC at the end of May, and here is what we need to cover between now and then (in between all the other testing that is about to start as well ...)
...uh yea, that's a lot. But a usual, Ms. Razgha will make this as fun and painless as possible (can't promise pain free because after all, this is school!)
So, without further adieu...
OPENING ACTIVITY- With your TEAM, review and answer the following questions
After you have finished this, please INDIVIDUALLY click THIS LINK and fill out this form for Mr. Danner.
So today, we are all going to be ... actors! I am going to split up the class into FIVE groups. We are going to read about the Adams-Onis Treaty. Each group will be assigned a question and will then need to create a skit that they will act out in front of the class that will answer the question. All group members must be involved in one way or another (more about this in moment!). Don't worry - everyone is getting an Oscar! Have fun, be creative and make sure that your skit answers the questions. Those in the audience should take notes since there may possibly, more than likely, why yes in fact will be a quiz on this information ... you're welcome for the heads up!
If we still have time after all the skits are presented, we will start finding out why exactly did President Jackson order to removal of Indians ...
9 weeks guys, we can do this!
- Westward Expansion & Life in the American West
- Slavery & Free Blacks in the US
- Reform Movements & Women's Rights
- A Nation Divided
- The Civil War
- Reconstruction
