OPENING ACTIVITY - With your TEAM, decide on what you think was the #1 strength for both the British and Continental Armies and the #1 weakness for both the British and Continental Armies ... there are 4 answers and 4 team members ... coincidence? I think not!
TO DO LIST:
- Opening Activity
- Finish/Review the Key Events of the American Revolution
- Work on Study Guide / meet with Ms. Razgha about History Fair
While you all are working on your study guides, I will be meeting with you individually or as a pair (if both of you are in the same class) to go over your thesis statement. (See below for assignment over Winter Break .... yes, you read that right!)
There are FIVE different ways that you can present your National History Day project: documentary, exhibit, paper, performance, or website. Please visit the National History Day website to help you decide what type of entry your project will be. You will need to let me know which type you will be doing when you come to take your quarter exam next week.
As you leave for Winter Break, you will have your thesis statement done. During Winter Break, it is expected that you will continue to work on your History Fair project, following the guidelines outlined for your chosen project type on the National History Day website. Your final project will be due on Friday January 23rd, so please be sure to work accordingly and not leave the project until the last minute. I will be checking on your progress on Thursday, January 8th, as well.
